Pacifica Sands

Looking at the reviews for this hotel. Some people say All inclusive is mandatory, others say no it is not. When we booked an exchange through our timeshare, nothing was said about it but I am nervous that when we get there we will have to pay and we would rather not have all inclusive. Any advise?

As a non-owner you will be required to pay for the AI plan. No ifs ands or buts about it. My advice would be to bail out if it's not too late or suck it up and forget about the pre-paid meals so you can experience some much better ones in and around town. And be prepaired for some "heavy" sales pressure.

Ted is right on...you will be required to do all inclusive. Get out now...go out to eat at all the wonderful restaurants that are being so hurt by these all inclusives. Ixtapa and Zihua have enough restaurants for you to stay a year!! Enjoy them...

Last year we met a couple at Bay View Grand that had done the timeshare exchange.. They did it once and found it cheaper to rent somewhere else rather than using their timeshare exchange and pay for AI

found out with our exchange that we do not have to do AI. Are there any good restaurants within walking distance.

Not much of a walk and you will have many resturants.

There is also a sports bar called The Generals.

It is partialy Canadian owned by a guy from Calgary.

Decent food, they had a Grey Cup party ther last year and the Stamps spoiled it by not showing up.

Maybe this year will be better.
