Where exactly is this new hotel located? Is it close to the marina? OR on the way to Zihu?

Cath,

I think this one is north of Ixtapa, and built into the cliff face.

I don't know that is has any beach.

Anyone else?

It has it's own small private beach very secluded and very 5 star. Spa kinda thing, rooms range from 1000 to 1500sgf brand new posh probably excellent service, But we stayed at Loma Del Mar which is in that high priced per night and the food was horrible, we had one burger for lunch and it was like shoe leather. If they are not getting people they start to cut cost somewhere and obivously it is in that area. Also they ran out of booze because again not enough attaction to an expensive resort. it went like this first day Pacifos, I think they had 5 or 6 we had 6 in our party so gone then we had a Negro maybe had 8 of them gone , then coronas, ETC. we offered to sell them our beer and booze:)It's a catch 22 with these upscale resorts who wants to pay 350. a night when you can pay 100.00?( and thats their special rate) and be on the beach in town? unless it's Zih on the beach with a hotel thats had movies filmed there? If you go PLEASE give us a reveiw. it looks awesome and has many reveiws from Luxury hotel magazines.

It is out by the Melia and the Club Med...so not by much...it is really set up for just staying there to relax and enjoy...for the prices...you might never want to leave the room...get you money´s worth for sure!
