Can I bring a bottle of wine to Maria Jiminez?

We are going to dinner tonight at Maria Jiminez for our last night in Cabo. After trying to dine there unsuccessfully earlier in the week (it's a busy place!) we made a reservation.

Night we tried to dine there, we saw a family eating and bringing beers out of a paper bag. Some folks on TA mention BYOB.

We have a bottle of wine left and I don't want to lug it back home.

For those that have been, please advise. I don't want to get the restaurant on trouble. But I would like to sip my Sauvignon blanc!
