First Time to Cabo Few Questions About our Stay

This will be our first time in the Cabo area and we booked Villa Costa Brava through cabovillas.com. Just wanting to know if anyone has stayed in this villa or surrounding villas on the property? Reviews on VRBO and TA look promising. It is beach front and also wanted to know what the surf is like? Can you swim, snorkel, boogie board, etc.? We are planning on renting a car for the week we are there, any good restraunts near this part of Cabo? I understand it is halfway between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo. Any information, tips, or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

The world is your oyster with the rental car. You are only 15 minutes from Cabo or San Jose and parking is free in both towns on any curb painted White. Red Curbs no parking, and Green curbs are for business use only, or if its the business you are going too you can park. One way streets are (Sometimes) on the street sign. It pays to look down a street in town to make sure its a two way street. (Tope) means Speed Bump or (the yellow caution sign with a car tiltled).

Santa Maria Bay and Chileno Bay are great swimming snorkling areas close to your villa and well marked on the Corridor highway exits.

Hundreds of wonderful restaurants to visit. Jaw breaking sunsets at Sunset Da Mona Lisa along with a telescope to view the constelations. wwww.sunsetmonalisa.com Drive thru a torch lit tunnel and dine on the cliffs above the crashing waves at El farallon www.capellapedregal.com The Hacienda Cocina y Cantina is an upscale resort on Medano Beach next to the Cabo Marina with Marvelous harbour views excellent ambience with great menu with good prices. www.hacindacocina.com

And thats just a start. Any Thurs,Fri, Sat night starting at 7pm. A really fun night in a casual food and drink barn with a Piano Man singing his heart out. (This guy is remarkable) Go to the Lattitude22 Roadhouse. Its on the way to Cabo just behind and to the side of the Big Costco. Get on the service road of the Corridor highway and make a right just after the plaza next to the costco. Its good comfort food BQ chicken, ribs, burgers and mex and seafood. Good prices. But the entertainment, this Piano guy has everyone dancing and singing. this link will give you the location.

Thank you for the information all insight is greatly appreciated. Jamaica has been our destination of choice for the last few years and thought we would change it up a bit! Considering we are from Texas you would think we would have done Mexico several times by now, we are looking forward to Cabo this summer!

Comming from Texas, Traveling to Cabo is a snap and great place to vacation. Once you get a taste its hard not to be regulars. Its so easy and safe to walk/drive around Cabo. Ive been to Jamaica and enjoyed the resorts, but was not comfortable wandering around Jamaica by myself.

You are just going to love Villa Costa Brava. This is one of our most popular rentals and it is in the perfect location! All of our guests rave that the villa is much nicer than they imagined from the photos!

If you have any other specific questions about the villa, please let me know! I have stayed there a couple of times and just love it!

These are all great recommendations in Cabo. If you want to venture into San Jose, you must go to Flora Farms for lunch! Great tacos are at Rossy's in San Jose and Gardenias in Cabo!

Have a great time and remember to take advantage of our complimentary arrival transfer and car rental delivery... saves you the 16% airport surcharge done by the car rental agencies.
