Riu Rooms

Leaving Saturday for the Riu.... we have booked Junior Suites and wondering if anyone can tell me the difference between the suites and a regular room as well as which rooms are best to request.... I hear the 4th floor is good..

Yes, there are irons and ironing boards in the closet. Nice irons too, even though I am not much of a ironer.

We stayed in 1032. You don't have to walk far to get to the "quiet" pool. It is a bit of a walk to the lobby but not the 10-15 minutes as others may have written about. Our room overlooked the pool and we saw beautiful sunrises every morning.

I'm thinking that every room at the Riu is at least a Junior Suite. I haven't heard of anyone that has stayed in any other room smaller than a Junior Suite.... Am I wrong?
