Question about Grand Solmar

We are thinking of going to Grand Solmar this January. When we stayed at Pueblo Bonito Rose a few years ago, because of the way that hotel is configured, the sun was blocked from the pool/ beach area after around 3:00. Does Grand Solmar have this same issue, or is there sun pretty much until it sets?

The pools are arranged so you have constant sun, all day long. Hope this helps.

It's unfortunate when you get scammed by timeshare salespeople. GS is not a bad place to go , it's absolutely stunning ! There are many of us that use GS every year and are extremely happy with them. All the pools are great and you will enjoy them. Just stay away from the presentation and you will have an excellent time...........Enjoy !!!

She wasn't asking to buy a timeshare you keep putting your responses on anything gs related even though it has nothing to do with your experience. Sorry u got burned but I'm sure it is not relevant to what the poster asked.

Monica... you can't respond to every Grand Solmar posting and paste in your facebook page.

Sorry that you're unhappy; sorry you got scammed. But you're hijacking other people's threads and that's not cool. Start your own thread, or just respond to threads that are about timeshare scams.

There will always be sun on some pool at GS, but not on all pools all the time. For example, the sun is blocked in the adult pool area in the pm.

Depends on the time of year you go...sun is further south in winter, providing a little more sun later in to the day than in the spring, but the days are shorter in winter. Been to GS in both March and November and in our experience none of the pools are 100% sunny all day long.
