What water taxi to select for Arches?

How do you select which water taxi company to take you out to the Arches, Lands End etc? Any recommendations on how to select? How many typically can fit? We may have up to 4 adults and 4 kids depending on how many want to go.

Just wave down ANY water taxi. They can hold about a dozen people. All prices are negotiable.

Flag down one that has a ladder in the front. Way easier to get in and out.

Don't worry about "company" when it comes to Water Taxi's. Just go down to the Medano Beach.

Here is a video of what you are looking for.

Depending where you are staying on Medano Beach you can ask around for the Water Taxi Vendor, or they might find you. The Vendors have radio's to talk to the Water Taxi's, or you just might see one just waiting along the shore.

Thanks! Yes one arch:) one other question, we

Will be coming from the bus from San Jose del Cabo. I believe you go towards the marina to get the water taxi. Sounds like most go to Medano beach after the Arch. Will it be too difficult for them to get off the boat or should we ask to be taken back to the Marina? Thanks for all your responses!

Here is a Map showing Dock 5 in the middle of the Map where you would get the Water Taxi on the Marina.

You can move the Map around and across on the other side is the beginning of Medano Beach. So if you come back to Dock 5 after your tour of the Arch. you will have to walk all around the Marina to get to Medano Beach.

You should also look at the Map and decide where you want to be on Medano Beach.

Also the Ocean Water at that end of Medano Beach is Calmer than at the other end Riu part of Medano Beach.

Nvut: you do need to jump into the water at Medano. If you time it right - approx up to your ankles. If you don't time it right - up to your knees, And if it is really wavy or you've had a little libation, well then you might be swimming 😀
