Going to San Carlos border crossing

We are going to spend a month in San Carlos.

Reading the different reviews everyone seems to

go across the border at nogaloes.

Would it not be easier to cross at Tijuana and

just drive down to San Carlos?

We are driving down from Canada so I'm not

sure if I'm doing the right thing by going

this way.

Thanks Gayle

With driving the mandatory 100 kmh, how long will it take to get from Nogales to San Carlos?

My sister and I will be going down the end of January for two weeks leaving from Tucson.

From the border crossing abut 10 am I'd get to Santa Ana around 12:15 for lunch and then get to San Carlos around 5pm. This is with a few stops along the way in a bus. In a car you'd make better time.

It normally takes me 6 hours, not counting stops for food, fuel, etc., to drive from Tucson to San Carlos.
