18 days in western cape and ? beyond

we are flying into Cape Town and spending 5 days in Camps Bay before heading out on a tour of the western cape to finally complete our 24 day trip with a 3 day Safari and flight back to UK via Port Elizabeth. Please could anyone give us suggestions and recommendations of where we 'must' go etc. Our thoughts are to include vinyards in Stellenbosch/ Franschhoek area; ?oudtshoorn; Knysna/Wilderness but really seem to go round in circles when trying to get some sort of itinery together

In Franschoek you will get top restaurants and you can basically just pop into one of the farms for a wine tour. From there yo ucan either take the inland route via Oudshoorn(cango caves, ostrich farms or go cage diving with crocodiles) or take the coastal route with the following options:

Mosselbay-Shark cage diving

Wilderness you can stay at Lodge on The Lake- lodge is situated overlooking a large lake, each rooms balcony gets a perfect sunrise over the lake, i can also recommend a restaurant called the blue olive, very nice atmosphere and good food.

Knysna: about 40mins drive from Wilderness- you can stay at leatst two days here. There are some really good lodges at an area called The Heads if you are looking for something with a view, they are expensive though, otherwise i can suggest Elephant Hide, its a very well run establishment with very good food and service.

If you would like to stay one night in Plettenberg bay try our The Robberg-amazing place overlooking the beach

Stormsriver is about an hour from Plettenberg bay and the you cab try out The Fernery which is something different .

Port Elizabeth is an hour and 30 minutes drive from here, you can go to Addo National Park, Kariega game reserve or for some luxury try Shamwari or Amakhala game reserve, both very highly rated
