Sandos Playacar timeshare sales reps?

My GF and I will be staying at Sandos Playacar in December. I've heard the timeshare sales reps can be pushy. Do they only bother married couples?

Reason I ask is that the timeshare sales people in Las Vegas were only interested in married couples. Once we told them we were not married, they were no longer interested in us...

I went there single, not one person approached me. Did not hear of any others bothered by time share either.

I won't worry so much about the Sandos, watch out for the Airport, that is quite an experience.

They're all out on the beach approaching guests at the other resorts in the area. LOL

Hola gbill2004.

You dont have to worry about Royal Elite.

In case someone approaches from Royal Elite, just tell them you're not interested.

Warm regards.

In general, they want married couples with matching credit cards (and sometimes two accounts that you each have a card for). We're not married and/or we don't have credit cards (or we only have small limits on our cards) should work. I got a kick out of Sandos' process. After we got there for our timeshare presentation (got hooked on 5th avenue...but we wanted to see Sandos anyway) the first guy had to "get permission" to show us this property. The implication was that only those who already own at Sandos or were staying there were generally "allowed" to go through the presentation and since we were hooked from the street they had to get a supervisor to approve us. Yep. We felt sooooo lucky to be approved. Felt a little bad later when all the champagne bottles were popping at the other tables in the final presentation room (happens every time they make a sale). Sad, sad, sad......no sale at our table. :)
