Sorry for the double post, I put it in the wrong forum the first time.
I have a couple of things to say on this topic.
there were a group of I think they said 40 kids from Manchester.. They were loud, rude, and terribly obnoxious. At one time, they were throwing a football around the pool.. hitting other people, spilling drinks, knocking over food.. and laughing about it. I'm sure not all English are this bad.. but these kids should not have been allowed out in public. One word. Hooligans.
Then there was the group of American kids.. they weren't quite as rude and obnoxious.. but everywhere they went, they left a large trash heap. They made me embarrased to be an American. My wife and I made sure we threw away our cups, and cigarette butts each and every time. We even got a couple of Gracias's from the people who work there when we picked up about 5 cups that were just left there.
Then there were the Canadians. I have nothing but good things to say about them. They were well-mannered, and very polite. I sat for hours drinking with a couple of young men from Alberta. These were the types of men I would want my daughters to date when they are older. Bravo Canada.
I'm sure the very small cross-section I was exposed to is no way to gauge any countries peoples.. but it sure makes a HUGE impression.
