Wanted to give a shout out to the restaurant aMar! Fairly new Peruvian restaurant downtown and it's amazing. I've been a frequent visitor of IM and aMar is a great welcome. Dinner was excellent and owner is passionate. Must try!

I agree with OP. Stopped in 2 nights ago for a take home bedtime snack. Got an appetizer. Don't remember the name but it's potatoe based, with hard-boiled eggs, a few little squiggles of crunchies and black olives covered with a spicey pepper cream sauce. It was delicious. Gonna for sure have dinner there before I leave. The owner was great--passionate is a good description.

I have eaten their food at the Artist Fairs and have been for dinner. It is air-conditioned and features local artists's work on the walls! We shared the beef heart and the mussels with three types of corn for an appetizer. Both were amazing. Then we had the chicken entree that is served with potatoes and a chili sauce. It as delicious too. We will definitely go back!
