Isla ferry drop off

So, when we get off the ferry at Isla, how do we get all our crap up to Avalon Reef.

We have an all inclusive through Avalon. Do they give us a ride to the hotel from the ferry drop off as well? How far is it to walk.

And tell me, what is this about the "sleeping policemen." What will they bust you for on the golf carts/mopeds?

I am pretty sure the Avalon has transportation for all their guests, but there are plenty of taxis as well as bicycle luggage tranports that take your luggage to your hotel for you. It would be about a 15 minute walk (approx) to get to the Avalon from the ferry docks. :)

If the hotel doesn't provide something, then take a taxi, it's quite a haul with luggage.

There are a lot of cops on Isla now. Helmit law is enforced if on a moped. No problems if using Golfcarts. Mopeds rent for $18 a day and Golfcarts rent for $40 a day. Don't pay more.
