Why would you want to do that?

Why? Because many times there are no forms given out on the plane and it's just one more thing you won't have to worry about. You have to be flying within 30 days before you can fill the electronic form out.

If you want to fill the form out in advance, use the link supplied by Craig.

If you prefer to fill it out on the plane, then wait until they hand you the form en route. If they run out of forms or don't have any to begin with, then you will be stuck with everyone else on your plane trying to fill the form out at Cancun airport immediately after landing.

Curtis, the online form must be completed online, then printed. It can't be printed as a blank form, then completed.

I have done this and it works! You do, however, still have to fill out the family customs form while there. It is shorter and easier though. We tried to hand a pre-printed color form to the green light/red light guy (which we found on some other website) and he didn't like it. Luckily, we had anticipated this and had the plane given one ready.

Our flight did not have any forms (last week); they ran out. Everyone got a form as we got off the plane. Very chaotic as we all tried to find a place (like windowsills) to fill out the form. Ours was in Spanish .. lol. they ran out of english ones. It's easy enough to decifer though; just takes a little more time. If we had known, we would've tried the online form and printed it before departure.

And remember to pack a pen in your 'personal item' carry on.

I can't remember. Does every family member need to fill one out regardless of age?

There is no mention of age limit on the form, only "ALL FOREIGNERS" and "THIS FORM MUST BE FILLED OUT INDIVIDUALLY BY EVERY FOREIGNER ENTERING MEXICO".

I don't know how a baby is supposed to fill it out and sign it.

I've been seeing a lot of recent reports saying they were out of the forms on their flight, so filling out the form in advance is a good idea.
