after reading many many negative comments and reviews about the Reef Club, we went any way. Let me tell you ... it certainly was NOT a mistake. The staff, ALL of them were very friendly & helpful. The activities staff made sure every one had a great time. there were lots of activities all day long ... yoga on the beach, water volley ball, pool bingo, kids club, ping pong, tennis, basketball, beach volley ball. A wonderful spa ... masaages on the beach!!! plenty of water sports & excellent snorkling. I was shocked to look into the water and see what i had been swimming with.
The food was good at the buffet, after 7 days i have to tell you, i was tired of it. Breakfast was excellent every day - omlets made to order, fresh fruit, cold cerial ... the normal american fare. They got a little creative for dinner but if it wasnt to your liking, there was always cold cuts and fresh rolls.
the snack bar had a great variety. Espically for our 7 year old. Chicken nuggets, fris, pizza, nachos, ribs & chicken on the rotisserie, tacos.
PLEASE DONT EXPECT THE RITZ, ITS NOT. if you are looking for a fun, relaxing, family vacation, I highly reccomend the reef club. The rooms are modest, and the housekeeping was exceptional. (we did tip her 1.50 a day)
any questions, id be happy to reply :)
