Snuba Diving A Great Way to Dive for the Non-Diver to see...

Just came back from a quick trip to Cozumel with my son. Not being a scuba diver we thought we would snorkel and see the coral and reefs. Our hotel set us up with a day long catamaran trip for snorkeling and Snuba. Snuba means you dive 20 feet under the water tethered to an airhose. You don't have to be certified and is great for the non-diver to experience diving. Being able to see the fish and coral up close and personal was breathtaking. It's probably one of the best kept secrets of Cozumel.

To Tommi:

You do not have to "freeze to death" in Ohio. I am a scuba instructor in Saskatckewan Canada. We have several months of diving where it's "not that cold" :-)

A better way is to do your classroom and pool work at home and get a referal card to take with you to the tropics and do your check out dives there.

Even though it's still part of the course you are really diving and having fun! Great vis, great great fish, you might forget you are doing your course.

The PADI referal is international but if yu are heading back to Coz use the Dive Op that I recommend.
