How's the windward side?

We are members of the Reef Regency and scuba every year in beautiful Coz. We are intending to go again, even though things may not be perfect. Haven't seen any posts on the "windward" side of Coz. Can you drive around the island? Coconuts? How are the beaches on that side?

I've read that coconuts isn't too bad, considering...

You can not drive around the island. In fact, currently you can not drive any farther east on the transverse road than San Gervasio. The beaches are big, sandy, and relatively clean.

Thank you for the pics. They are wonderful. The beaches are still beautiful and I'm sure the people of Coz are working their hardest to get the fun places on the "other side" back in operation. thanks again!
