A question for laoise m or any other uk to cancun...

Where do you buy these step up adaptors??

I cannot find on that will run my hairdryer anywhere.

What sort of voltage/wattage were you adaptors? What sort of power are your hairdryers??

I am due to fly out tonight @ 9.35pm UK time though that is proabably unlikely.

To answer your question, you usually find these in one of the shops in the airport, they have all kinds of travel equipment

We were due to fly out yesterday and have now been delayed in london for two days. Ah well. It supposed to be minimal damage in Cancun. I bought a travel hairdryer with Dual Voltage. This will work in Cancun. You probably wont need a step up adaptor. Ive used these appliances in the past in America and they work fine just a little slower.L

How powerfull is the hairdryer you are taking?

I have just seen an 1800w travel dryer. Sorry for being a pain but I have realy thick and quite long hair which is a nightmare to dry here without a pro hairdryer.
