Royal Holiday Vacation Club Cancun Gets 5 Star Safety Rating

It's great to see how safe and secure vacation spots in Cancun and the Yucatan peninsula are. Royal Holiday Club one of the most well known beach and travel companies that is attractive to a lot of us in Canada and the USA just won the 5 star safety rating for their above and beyond measures that they go through to ensure that those who are traveling not only feel extremely safe but are also extremely safe.

I guess the fact that no complaints have come from dangerous circumstances only helps the situation for them.

Little blurb from the news article pretty much spells it that Detroit, Chicago, and Baltimore are a lot more dangerous to visit than any of the resorts in Mexico will ever be. "Mexico sees over 9 million tourists and travelers each year. Beyond that, almost 150,000 Americans enter the country each day. Comparing those numbers with claims of violence shows that most of those fears are hyperbolic at best. In fact, Mexico's highly populated tourist locations are statistically much safer than some U.S. cities. For example, Chicago, Baltimore, Detroit and New Orleans both manage consistently higher murder rates than some of Mexico's most densely populated areas and are over 100x more dangerous than Cancun and other resorts where Royal Holiday Vacations have delighted tourists."

How have your experiences been visiting Mexico and the beach side resorts. Do you get that 5 star level of service?

I was watching CNN today and they did they that Cancun and Mexico is actually one of the safest places in the world to visit now and that there is a lot of fake news by the media being portrayed trying to promote these 5 star resorts and towns as dangerous when in reality it's small border towns that are hundreds of miles away that pose any danger. It's nice that Royal Holiday Cancun and their other resorts got the recognition from a 3rd party for their high safety rating and beautiful beaches to match,

I think a lot of Canadians and those from the states know Mexico is super safe and beautiful but it's nice to get that reinforcement,

What exactly are these measures taken to ensure guests are extremely safe? As far as your questions goes, yes, there are some wonderful 5 star resorts in the area that provide that level of service.

I lived in Mexico for quite some time and the general rule was that whatever else was happening natives want the tourist to come to their cities so they do everything that they can to make it safe for them. It is much more dangerous to be Mexican then it is to be American, Canadian, or European. They want your money so they will keep you safe. Honestly it is probably one of the safest places on earth for tourists because of that.
