Public Transportation

We would like to make a reservation at the Fortin de Las Flores Resort Club. It is 65 miles from the Veracruz International Airport. Are there shuttles, bus lines, or trains that would get us the the resort?

How much would a cab cost from the airport to the resort?

Thanks.

Hi,

Unless the resort has its own transportation, there is no direct bus from the Airport to Fortin de las Flores. You should take a cab from the airport to the bus station, and there you can take a bus to that city. It is about a 2 hr ride. A cab to the resort would be fairly expensive, since it's another city.

I see in the website that they have free transportation to veracruz beaches, maybe you could ask if they offer transportation to the city/airport.

I think a taxi from the airport to the bus station would cost about Mex.$ 120. There is a first and 2nd class bus station back to back on the same block. Very confusing at first but look around, study the sign boards and you should be able to figure it out. Lots of frequent buses to everywhere. We went to Tlaccotalpan about 2.5 hrs for about Mex$7 so it is pretty cheap.

Hi -- We were thinking of staying at this hotel in March -- Fortin de Las Flores. Did you end up staying there and if you did, could you share your review or comments with us?

Thanks,

Ricardo and Donna
