Weather in May

Our trip for May is almost here, yay! I'm assuming it will be hot, hot and hot the whole time we are here. Will be going to Mexico City, Puebla and Oaxaca (with a few days in LA). I'm not imaging we will need any warm clothes other than a light cardigan, is this right?

Because of their high elevations, Mexico City and Puebla have an average high of 22-23 and an average low around 13 in May, so a light cardigan or jacket would be useful in the evening. Oaxaca, while still at a fairly high elevation, is hotter, average high around 32 and an average low around 16. It is also the beginning of the rainy season so bring a portable umbrella.
