Does anyone know of an active Mexico City expat forum besides this one. Additional sources of information are always helpful.
Not a forum but an expat society: http://www.newcomers.org.mx/
Strictly speaking, TA forums are not for expats and threads relating to relocation and long-term housing are against TA rules and will be removed.
There are a number of commercial forums that have a Mexico City branch and a friend of mine who moved there found the Newcomers supportive.
Here in San Miguel, with its large and mostly retired expat community, there are a number of very active forums. In DF most expats are working and probably get support through their work colleagues.
If it's travellers' forums you want, there are quite a few other than TA. The best known is probably LP's Thorntree, but the Mexico forums are full of the same half dozen people snapping at each other and any newcomer who poses what they think is a naïve question.
Thanks, everyone, buy the way I am spending the Winter in San Miguel de Allende, Londinese, we live in Guadalupe, how about you?
