Earthquake in PV?

Just saw on Facebook that there was a 4.7 magnitude earthquake in PV. Does anyone have information?

Yes there was an earthquake in PV. We were there when it happened. The chair I was sitting in rocked, the chandelier was swinging and a big mirror on the wall was shaking. It was noticeable enough for us to discuss what would be the safest place to go in case there were more tremors.

We were there then too. With the kids in a souvenir shop. They noticed it, but I didn't.

Us too.

We were sitting on our balcony & it really rocked. We quickly ran inside & tried to decide if we wanted to be hit by a falling building, or go down to the lobby on the beach for the tsunami. Opted for the tsunami, as we can swim so we have a chance.

Soothed ourselves having a drink & talking to the hotel staff...then went to sleep as there did not appear to be anything further going on.

Had one north of Toronto today 4.8 and my chair + desk moved very noticeably! No damage so don't worry PV is safe as much as the rest of the fault zones ca be!
