LOL JR - You've never ridden with me. Since the road between El Tuito and Mayto has been improved it definitely cuts down on the drive. What can I say, I'm a country girl that grew up driving on dirt & gravel roads.

On Los Muertos beach we've eaten fish an shrimp on a stick and oysters served in a Frisbee and never had a problem.

OK "country girl" it's min 45 min to El Tuito from the southside and I know the road from El Tuito has been improved, but there's still a lot unpaved and it depends on the time of year, during the rainy season and after (before they send the dozers and graders in) for 45min. Especially now, Manuel dumped a lot of rain in that area!

I'll give you the extra time for rainy season as I don't drive there then. But other than that you said 45 minutes to El Tuito and 45 minutes to Tehua which totals 90 minutes from the southside. Besides, I probably estimate it in Mexican time. It's kind of like you saying it takes an hour to get from Walmart to Sayulita by bus. I've never made it in less than 90 minutes and sometimes as long as 2 hours since the buses going in that direction are flag stops. It's all good. When I'm in PV my clock runs a little slower and I don't need to worry about time so much like I do at work.
