private boat to Yelapa

Looking for a boat large enough for 16 people. Do not want water taxis. Do not want a sail boat.

Drinks included would be nice. From PV to Yelapa

For that size group, you need a yacht.

My son just rented one from yachts-vallarta.com I think there were 16 people. Pretty sure they had an open bar and snacks. If you want more info, let me know.

I found out my son had 16 people and they had the yacht for 6 hours and it was right around $3,000. That included drinks and food.

I know we rented a catamaran from them, but there were only 10 of us and it was for about 6 or 7 hours and I am pretty sure it was right under $1,000.

So, the yachts are way nicer, but more expensive!

Frankly, for as short as the trip is, I'd hire a large water taxi. You should be able to get 14 on one.

Mike has a good point. You should be prepared for any private yacht to have a minimum time period you're chartering for, because that's what many of the private panga's do as well. If you don't want to pay that much, it can be possible to find at the Los Muertos Pier or the Boca pier a private panga that will take you and pick you up because they also try to make money that way as well.

You won't find a private panga that is licensed panga to take 14 people, too many people for that size boat. The largest panga's are 28ft and are licensed for a max of 8 and a crew of 2. Some people rent two and go tandem, doing the activities they want to do, but the cost will double and the O0 isn't interested in a small boat.

The cooperativa has larger boats that would accomodate them out of Los Peines.
