Clothing optional

Got ya!! No, I am not referencing nude beaches 😉, rather dinner dress. Last time I travelled to Mexico was in Cancun, many years ago. There there were several restaurants that required men to wear long pants to dinner... Could be jeans, but had to be full length trousers. Which i thought was crazy, but i guess some people thought it kept the riff raff out 😊. In that I will be traveling to Maz in May, it will be plenty hot... Does anyone know if long pants are customary at any of the eating establishments in Mazatlanfor dinner.

Thx

Not a one I know of. And if there was, I wouldn't go there.

Mazatlan is really casual, because of the climate...so bring shorts and enjoy!

Yep I have been traveling to Mazatlan for thirty years and the day I arrive the long pants go in the suitcase and have never come out until the day I depart. I'll be there on May 8th. It will be a great way to shake off the winter chill.

If you tour the Pacifico Brewery they require long pants.

I'll be staying at the El Cid Marina but if I'm not fishing I'll be spending some time at the Moro pool.

The Italian Restaurant at P.B. Maz would like us men to wear long pants, but I have never been turned away because I didn't.

Had they said anything I would have walked away on my own, it just isn't that good in the first place.

You will notice that the national men wear long pants and the ladies often wear dresses, but I have never been to any restaurant in Mazatlan that had any such dress code. Go , be comfortable and enjoy!
