I am going to Huatulco in May next year and would love to see dolphins/whales. I have seen advice on this forum but most trips seem to last 3 hours plus. Is it possible to take a boat trip to see dolphins/whales that lasts maybe an hour? I'm not too keen on being on a small boat in the water for too long as not a good swimmer, but also not really keen on going on huge boat with loads of people.

any suggestions please?

Thank you warminup!

Sianmexico and others: whales are only around in the winter time, December through March.

Dolphins and rays are around all year, although you have a better chance seeing them in the winter time as well. It doesn't mean you always see them when you go out. Whether you go out an hour or 3 hours, it's very possible that you came back without seeing anything....

Apart from that, it is easy enough to arrange a boat trip for any amount of time you like.

Hope this helps,
