1. Re: Villa Vera

It is closed for the time being or until someone takes it over etc???

There are guards still maintaining the security at the entrance and staff to maintain the grounds but other than that "(NOT OPEN FOR BUSINESS)"

Sad HUH?? Hope someone will buy it and bring back the old nostalgic days!

Sorry to hear about Villa Vera. Loved having brunch up there. Hope to be in Aca again in Feb. and does anyone know if Los Flamingos is still open. Would hate to miss having our pina coladas as the sun drops into the ocean. And Coyuca 22? An expensive treat but a once a season must visit. Heard that is still closed or is it a rumour? Hope those places closed will open up once "The Season" is in full swing and more tourists arrive. As long as I can have the fabulous Tiramasu after dinner at Forza Italia on the Costera then stroll across the street to get a helado do coco, I'll be back in Acapulco heaven. It still has the most beautiful Bay in the world. Love Acapulco!

Also the Ice cream shop in front of Forza is now a mini super OXXO.

Coyuca has been closed now for over 10 years.......Bella Vista in Las Brisas is one with a very nice (actually the BEST) view of the bay!

Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!

Murand

That bay view is what brings most of us back yearly. I can't imagine much better.

Coyuca 22 was a terrific restaurant but only closed 5 years ago as I was fortunate to go in 2007. I think that was their last season that Feb or March.

The VV had really terrific views from the dining area by the pool. Hopefully not closed forever!
