Basilico

We dined there tonight and we believe this might be the best new restaraunt in Acapulco since Carminere.

The owner recommended a great wine and for an appetizer we had gnocchi with Gorgonzola sauce. I had the ravioli stuffed with tuna and Michael had home made Italian sausage with thinly sliced cottage fries and onions. He believes the sausage was as good as any he had back in Chicago on Taylor Street, which for him is saying a great deal.

This establishment is a keeper.

If the sausage is that good, I'm in. I usually bring it back from Chicago when I go home to visit.

Nice Stash!

Love good sausage!

I have a favorite that I get while at the MN State Fair. "Gismo's" (da bomb)

It's from Iowa!

I'd love to try it and let you know!

Stash is right regarding the sausage. In my 40 years in Acapulco it is by far the best I have tasted.

The dining area is outside and surrounded by shrubbery, spray yourself for mosquitos.

Costa Azul, go up Christopher Colon from the Belgian restaurant and the first street you come to turn right. It is one half block down on your left.
