Body Surfing/Boogie Boarding

I've mentioned here before that we are bringing down a US college swim team in early December for a training trip. Our students are all national caliber swimmers and I was wondering if anyone has seen anybody body surfing or boogie boarding in Bathsheba? I'm sure it's not recommended but we have taken the team body surfing in quite large waves while in Costa Rica a couple of years ago. Thanks.

Or similar on the south/south east coast might be better than the surf at Bathsheba even though they are good swimmers.

thesurfingsite.com/Surf-Spots-Barbados.html maybe this site could help you decide which beaches would be best for you. It does list Bathsheba as advanced...so guess it depends if all your students meet that criteria.

The Crane Beach has some great body surfing . The only reason I wouldn't recommend Bathsheba is simply the rocks and reef.. could be wrong.. but.. Have a great trip..
