Hideaways at Palm Bay - Anchoring Boat

I just read a review by someone saying that anchoring your boat to the dock at Palm Bay is not safe due to the tides and waves.

Has anyone else had this experience that has stayed there and rented a boat.

I planned on having a boat for a couple days and was going to achor it overnight.

You cannot anchor your boat to the dock. The dock is used for loading and unloading only. You will moor your boat in the water and it is perfectly safe. That is one of the benefits of staying at Palm Bay.

People have tied to the dock only come return in the morning and find their boat stuck in the sand! Better to use the moorings and not have any worries. Be sure to have your feet protected as there is some rough spots walking out.
