George Town restaurants

We're headed to Exuma in a couple of weeks and staying in George Town. (7 adults including 2 seniors....and we will have a car):

1. I'd love feedback on what people think the top 3 restaurants for dinner would be.

2. Is it worth it to go the Four Seasons for dinner one night? If yes, which restaurant (I think they have several)? Or is it just too overpriced for what you get?

We're not coming to Exuma for the food....But I've got a couple of people who really like to have a good, hearty dinner and I need to be prepared....

Thanks!

I've never eaten at the 4 Seasons for dinner. Been there for lunch and it's overpriced! Not Bahamian by any stretch.

Some of my favorite restaurants are Cheaters and Castaways 2. The Bonefish Lodge, down by the Ferry, is very good as well. I suggest you call ahead to all restaurants before going to see what is on the menu and if they are open. Eddie's Edgewater is also good - don't be put off by the look of the place. You will be welcome and get real Bahamian food.

That's good to know about Eddie's. I always kind of shy away.

I highly recommend Bonefish Lodge -- beautiful place and great service, excellent food. For lunch, go all the way to Little Exuma to Santana's -- best Bahamian food we had. Great for dinner, but the road back is dark! Call ahead both places.

Cheater's ran out of food the day we tried, so I can't attest to it, but Palm Bay Beach Club does a nice lunch.
