I have not stayed there but have friend that owns the house next door. He tells me that the owner has not keep the place up. Yes its on the ocean if you walk across the drit rd and down the 20 ft hill to the beach. It is a nice beach. The house is a long drive out a drit road and hope you don't need to go back to town to get anything. It is a very quite area. You'll have fun .

We stayed at Palmetto Sunrise the house next to Blue Yonder and the folks that were there when we were had allot of issues with the house.

Very little as far as cooking supplies and even did not supply a start of toilet paper for them.

The hot water was not working

They ran out of water , the car that they gave them broke down and the hot tub was green.

he guest book was filled with bad reviews.

I would beware of this place even if the car is included in the price its not worth it.,

We just returned from Eleuthera, and stayed at Blueyonder. Our experience was NOT as you describe. The villa is well appointed, there is a hot tub on the terrace, the kitchen is pretty well appointed, and we rented the car and it was fine. The villa is across the street from the beach, which we did not mind, as it is just a sandy road with access by foot. The view of the sea from the villa is very nice and there are great breezes. The beach is Fantastic here, reefs within swimming distance. We rented the owner kayak and it was lots of fun. We lost power one night so be sure to bring a flashlight and candles. This was the whole area that lost power, you have to know this is a pretty remote place,,, that is why we like it. The road to the villa is long and not totally paved, that is about the only negative. We read the comments in the owner book and there were not any bad ones. If you go, bring food - food is really expensive on island... there is a farm with organic vegetables not far - definitely worth it. Eleuthera is a beautiful untouched place, go fast before others discover it!!!
