Considering Eleuthera in Sept. First trip

I am an avid diver, my wife likes to walk, lounge, and listen to the waves.

Is this a good place for us? Is a month too long? Does one need a car? We know NOTHING.. All advice is appreciated.

Elutherea is very pretty and quiet, yes you need a car as a very large island. A month is great if you like to relax and walk deserted beaches. You must have dinner at Tippy's it is the happening spot in Governer's Harbour!

If you haven't made reservations yet for Eleuthra, check out the website for LeSable Rose. Quiet, serene private cabin on a secluded beach away from everything. A doctor from Miami owns it. You will definitely need a car, but all information is on this website: LeSable Rose.com

Very relaxing destination...take plenty of reading material. I would love a month on the island. I agree Tippy's is a must do!
