privacy at tailwinds resort

my husband is concerned the bungalows at Tailwinds Resort are too close together to allow privacy. Does any one have information about hearing other guests TV, talking, etc etc?

The cottages do not share a wall, so hearing conversations or the tv from the next cottage while inside yours is not an issue. We did not hear our neighbors when we were inside.

It was pretty much silent when we were in our room. But if you have anyone outside on the deck late at night being really loud you MIGHT be able to hear them. But we didn't have that problem because all of the couples/families staying when we were there were very calm and quiet :)

If staying at Tailwinds, how far is it to places to eat? I don't think their website mentions anything about it and without a "full" kitchen in the units it doesn't seem to be self catering. Info, please!!

The easiest thing to do is just call Tailwinds and ask them how the meals work there.

The only walkable restaurant from Tailwinds is Shanna's Cove. If you plan to eat out at night, best to have a car. I heard there were some nights when the guests would all get together and head to Arthur's Town for dinner, in which case they convince the owner Rich to drive them to town and they all enjoy a night out. We did not get to partake of this as we were there for such a short time (4 nights) that we ended up eating 1 dinner at Shanna's and the rest at Tailwinds.

The food prices at Tailwinds is pretty reasonable. The portions are big, so we ended up saving leftovers to eat for lunch the next day (each cottage has a microwave).
