day pass

We ( 3 friends) will be arriving by cruise ship and are thinking about a day pass for swimming, beach and food. What is the best hotel deal that offer these day passes? Atlantis looks super but is expensive for just the day! Thanks in advance!

There are 3 levels of passes to Atlantis.

DIGS Aquarium is $45pp

Beach is $80 included DIGS and Main Beach and does not include pools grounds, or slides

Aquapark is $120/$140 depending on the date and season.

You can get tickets at the front desk, but there is a limited number sold each day.

http://www.majestictoursbahamas.com/ Majestic tours sells them, they are not on their website, but you can contact them for details

If you are from the US ther is no need to exchange money. Just be careful not to bring home a significant amount, as it's nearly impossible to get it exchanged in the states.

Hi marshaericheson! Welcome to the TA Forums!!!

One night you could go to Sr. Frogs or Crazy Johnnie's, and also try and catch Paula Neely (Fri & Sat nights) in the Royal Towers lobby, maybe after you have dinner there (Olive's? Mesa Grill?) - call for a rez (242) 363-3000.

How many of you are there? If the day passes are $150pp and a room for 1 night at Comfort Suites is $380 (and gives you 2 days of Atl day passes).... well, might be a savings :)

Have Fun!

TRIP REPORT ON DAY PASS--- First thanks to all who replied!! We did end up purchasing the Riu day pass for $75. It inc all drinks, food and pool use. It was very relaxing. Drinks and buffet were plentiful and very good. Went to the beautiful beach and the water was so clear! Only a few people asked if we wanted to buy things but we declined and were not bothered at all. It was wonderful!! The next time we visit we would like to snorkel as the water was so clear, we saw fish easily without gear!! The beach and the pool were not crowded. We were happy with our choice. We decided to take the ferry there which was a bad choice as it took about 45 min. They were trying to fill the boat. I thought some of the men were going to drive the boat themselves!! It was quite a wait!! We took a cab back to the cruise ship and it costs $14 for 3 vs $12 for the ferry!! But it was very enjoyable and agree we would love to return!!! Thanks to all again!!!

Hi LeEttaP - thanks for coming back with your day pass trip report - it's good information to know, and I agree, unless you want a boat ride across the harbour (which does have a certain appeal) I always recommend taking a taxi. Sounds like you had a great time, thanks for sharing :)
