what weather can we expect in July

thinking of planning a trip to Atlantis in July 2013. What can we expect for weather conditions at that time of year?

Although others here say rain is hard

to predict, from a climate standpoint,

July is in the rainy season in the

Bahamas. This season runs from

around May 22 thru the end of October.

The humidity is very high during this

time. With all that moisture there is

a good chance of a daily downpour

lasting from minutes to hours

somewhere on the island you are on.

While it most likely won't rain every

day or all day, the risk of rainfall is

highest during the rainy season in

the Bahamas.

In addition, tropical storms during the

hurricane season from June thru

November bring more rain.

Tiger is on point as always....during July hot and humid is the normal. Heat index each day well above 100. We can go days without rain, and have days in a row with heavy downpours. It can rain two inches in 30 minutes two miles from you, but you don't see a drop. Just your typical pop up thunderstorms. Sea temps are well into the 80's. July is not typically a busy month for tropical systems..but that guarantees nothing.
