If you are a big eater it may be--but we never spend on food what the meal plan costs.

The meal plans are just breakfast and dinner. We bring breakfast stuff from home (eat in our room, saves money and time), had read on here the lines can get long at the buffets for breakfast (don't like to waste time in the morning).

Usually have lunch near one of the pools (they have some meal deals with refillable sodas). Dinners on and off property (with a meal plan you can only eat on property).

Going tomorrow and we took the meal plan. We have two kids and they eat for free. We don't pack food with us as we don't eat those sorts of foods. It will be interesting as we normally spend a fair bit of money on food as we eat fresh.

The thought of going to buy groceries and all that stuff is simply not a vacation for me.I do that back here at home. Also coming from Manhattan I don't think the prices are that much of a shock either.

We don't drink soda or really any sort of processed food so lunch I hope to find some healthy choices. Those meals by the pools are not what we would eat.

So I will have a different perspective than others :)

Hi hutais. We are going to bahamas on sept.1-6 with our 4 & 6 yr olds. I have been wrestling with the idea of getting the meal plan or not. Did you have any regrets in getting the meal plan? Would you do it again? Your advise would be greatly appreciated.
