The Sunspree is quite ordinary, but will suffice for a place to stay and relax. Not Great, but adequate.

The beach is tiny, and NOT on the ocean, but on the working harbour. You can walk to the public beach just 10 mins away.

Atlantis is nearby for the casino, and you 14 year old would like the aquariums ($29pp). You can take a ferry for $3pp to downtown for shopping, check out the forts, Ardastra Zoo, or have a snack at the fish fry. THere's even a pirates museum.

The hotel has a tour desk in the lobby should you want to take a snorkeling trip or spend a day at a private island. There's a chance to swim with the dolphins, or island hop.

Bahama Divers has a location in the hotel, they have terrific snorkeling trips and scuba lessons.

There's plenty to keep you busy.
