fresh local produce and seafood

Hi, we are in Cruz Bay, having a great time.. Wondering where we can find fresh local produce and locally caught seafood. Have found Starfish market which is nice, but seems most stuff is imported. ANy markets that anyone knows about?

There is very little local produce. You can purchase Josephine's Greens that are grown in Coral Bay but that is really about it.

Seafood is a crap shoot. There are usually fisherman selling their catch in the morning down by the old barge dock, across from Nature's Nook....I think. Don't quote me on the loccation, hopefully Julie will pop in with their exact location.

For fresh caught fish, you can try in the afternoons right at Nature's Nook. If there is any to be had, the guys usually sit at Nature's with their big white coolers in the late afternoons. Occasionally you will see a guy across from the Post Office at the edge of the Custom's parking lot as well.

For produce, there is Josephine's, and on Friday's there is a guy with the back of his pickup truck full of produce at Tony's, which is the food van at the intersection of Centerline Road and Gifft Hill Road.
