Night Life in Turks & Caicos

I'm newly wed and planning a honeymoon trip to Caribbean for first week of September. I hear great things about the beaches of T&C, but nothing substantive about any meaningful night life. Can anyone advise? The hotel of choice is the Gansavoort...

Other options are

St. Lucia,

St. Marten

The Casablanca Casino is usually hopping nightly until the wee hours 3-4am. Free safe shuttle to & from your Resort(Gansevoort), about 4.5 miles away with free adult beverages to the players. Security is very good also. DR. JIM

If you're looking for a vibrant night life, then Provo might not be the right choice for you... aside from the casino and Friday/Saturday bands at the Gansevoort (if they are doing in September, which is off-season), you won't find much other than restaurants. It's a great place to chill and just enjoy your spouse's company, but it isn't the entertainment capital of the Caribbean (which most of us find to be very appealing).

Danny Bouy's and Jimmy's Dive Bar may have a late night crowd. As Dr.J said the Casino if you like to gamble.The rest of the island is usually zipped up tight by 10:00-10;30 pm.

Not proud of it, but we closed Danny Buoys both Saturday night's on our recent trip. It was rocking the first night, not so much the second time.

Wrong island, especially in September. Will not have any nightlife.

St Lucia the same.

Best bets are Aruba and St. martin

As others have said, not much nighttime activity on Provo. Probably the most activity is at the Club Med resort and you can get night passes for there. If you do this, I'd suggest checking the planned activities/show for the evening;

We frequent Aruba often - last time we took our married children(31-36 years). We stayed on a quiet beach (Eagle) but the kids went down to Palm beach area 3 nights while there and hit a lot of fun bars !!!!

They also have many casinos, over the water bars with music on Palm Beach.

Just DON'T go AI- too many great places to eat!!!!

We were there in mid-June and were shocked that all the shops and even some of the restaurants closed at 5. And forget it on Sundays. It was a little weird walking on the main street at night with all these shops surroundingyou and being the only person out. We got used to it but it took a few days. We never felt unsafe, just didn't exactly feel safe being the only ones out at 9pm on a Friday night. We were hoping to do the beach during the day, shower, have dinner and then shop around but we never made it inside any of the shops due to the limited hours.
