First trip to Turks and Caicos

We are going to be going to Long Bay area the first week of March.

Is there snorkeling nearby....I understand that the water is shallow right there.

We will be renting a car. Is there good access to other beaches and snorkeling?

What else must we see?

How is driving there - I know it's on the left side....

no snorkelling at Long Bay, very shallow and usually choppy.

car essential to get to other beaches etc, go to Coral gardens or smiths reef for walk-in snorkelling.

are you beach front at Long Bay? if not I'll direct you to the beach access.

Yes, we're right on the beach....a place called Wyakha....it's a villa....vacation rental....and there 4 suites to choose from there. It looks like an awesome place. We'll ave a car and will want to explore beaches anyway.

I hope we'll be happy there. We want quiet...no so many tourist but then can go to those places as we want.

Does this sound like a good plan? The reviews were very good.
