First time in Turks and Caicos, need help booking a condo

Wife and I will be in Providenciales May 23 - 28 for a wedding held at the Sands in Grace Bay. This will be our first time in T&C, looking for some advice.

Like to find something under $350/night, beach front. Definately prefer condo over resort. Location and proximity to the beach is more important than room size and amenities.

Any suggestions?

80% of the properties are condos.

Sands fits the bill, or are you trying to stay away from the wedding couple?

You'll find many for under $350 in May, all beachfront.

Only rooms that are available for Sands is the 2 bedroom Suite. We don't really need a 2 bedroom. Will check out TC Reservations now. Thanks.

They cover just about everything - if you have no luck though, post again

Try www.vrbo.com (vacation rental by owner). You can rent directly from owners. We have found the best pricing from using that site and have good luck renting from owners.

Alexandra is walking distance and affordable... Check to see if there is construction at that time. Some of our guests stayed at Ocean club west, royal west indies, and Sibonne. Sibonne is an older hotel, charming but dated-- but closest beachfront access. There are some decent reviews on le vele, but I don't remember this one so I can't comment. Hope that helps!

We booked an upcoming stay at The Ocean Club East in June directly with the owners via VRBO at prices far cheaper than through the resort itself. We've booked other properties through VRBO in the States and have been pleased. If owners have not yet rented their property for your time frame, they may possibly offer a cheaper rate.

Agree with provotraveller and you'll get a nice villa for that price too!

We just returned from TCI and we stayed in this unit....http://www.vrbo.com/266330

This is a 2 bed room but when you contact the management agent (Nicola - who is awesome to work with) tell them you are 1 couple and you get the 1 bed room price.

The condo is on the ground floor with a great view and 40 steps and you are on the beach.

We just returned from TCI and we stayed at The Regent Grand. It was Fabulous! Very quiet and relaxing and close to everything!
