Booked!

April 5 to May 8. The Sands. Trip #9. I can't wait. Right now it is a balmy -12C/10F but feels like -23C/-9F. And tomorrow is supposed to be a little colder! I really do hate Canadian winters. Cheers.

"April 5 to May 8" -- in my next life I want to be Canadian. Hockey player would be nice. I would train in Provo every time I'm on strike or locked out

5 weeks! Damn you Northern brothers know how to take a Provo vacation. I thought 2 weeks was twice as good as a week. Now I might spend a weeker at the 7 STARS or Somerset to show Mike & Ziggy I can experience something new @ my age. Ziggy, should I start my social security now @ 62 or wait until I'm 70? I shortened my schedule to 35 hours(semi-retired) down from 65+. DR. JIM

Thanks everyone.

Mike, I wouldn't mind going earlier but my inlaws usually go mid jan to mid march. We stay in their unit at the Sands. Also, there is a pretty big group of people who all go to the Sands at roughly the same time each year. It is like a vacation and reunion all in one trip.

Ziggy, it is good to be back. Can I expect to see you and the fam again this year? Pretty nice being a Canuck. Hockey, maple syrup, curling, long Provo vacays. Living the dream in the great white north.(Truthfully, I will be working every available overtime day or night for the next 2.5 months to pay for this monstrosity of a vacay)

Agent, living in Detroit means you're an honorary Canuck anyway. We know you're sneaking over to Windsor for maple syrup and poutine. Lol.

What a great vacation to look forward too! That will definitely help you out getting through those frigid days.

Although I am jealous! ;-)

IhateCanada -- we are going sooner this time (next month) so we'll sample a few things before your eating marathon. Curling eh! So jealous. Good to see you back on the forum.

Dr JIM -- something is not right. I'm only in my late 30's (42 to be exact) and work full time as much as you do. I say take the money now before we go bankrupt and have to learn Chinese. Or worse, Canadian!
