Left off on Nov 16 (Friday) -it rained most of the day. We really did not mind as we could sit on our screened in balcony, gaze at the ocean and relax with good books. Dinner again at Flamingo, nice and dry, and we both had the coconut grouper which was great. Saturday Nov.17 was breezy and overcast but we enjoyed the beach. That night we went to Beach House for the tasting menu with matching wines. Once we slowed down the service all was fine. The courses were coming out faster than we could eat. The chef is very accomplished; however we had some concerns which I will address in a later revue. We went back to diving on Sunday, the 18th and had a great day diving with sharks, dolphins and eagle rays. Sunday we dined at Coyaba and it was superb. We were so impressed we ate there Monday night also. (After more diving.) I especially liked thveal filled pasta. On Tuesday we went diving again and dined at Mango Reef and listened to Nada -very enjoyable. Wednesday the 21st was a great beach day and dinner again at Coco B. I again had the lobster tacos and seafood penne and coconut pie! Thursday was yet another windy beach day with dinner at Bay bistrot to celebrate Thanksgiving. Since we were not ready to go home we extended our trip until Saturday! We spent Friday at Las Brisas (lobster salad and conch) and explored Chalk Sound. Finally we had our farewell dinner at Calicos Cafe- another lovely evening. All in all we had a great trip and cannot wait to return (hopefully in May.) A special thanks to all the staff at the Sands who made this the best vacation ever. A special thanks to Shamara, Shopia, Beyonce, Adis and Albert for all your kindnesses. Thanks again to Jane and Mickey at Flamingo Divers - the best time ever. We hope to see you soon! Grace Bay Auto Rentals did a superb job for us. And lastly we want to thank all the people we met (locals and tourists) who made this such an enjoyable vacation.
