Potcake question for you

I've checked out the map link you provide below to find our exact location when visiting T&C in January.

www.gracebayrealty.com/MapProvidenciales.pdf

our location will be >>

on Dolphin Ave, Leeward Estates.

my question is:

>>how far/where would we have to walk to catch the gecko bus to get to restaurants??

>>or can you give me a idea of the cost for a taxi to most restaurants??

thanks...gadgetgirl

Hi gadgetgirl!

I'm on Dolphin Avenue until end of Jan.

It's too far to walk to get the Gecko.

It's probably best if you rent a car to go back and forth, taxi's will get expensive after a couple of back and forths.

You don't want to miss Hemmingways, and Tiki Hut is a cool place too.

With a car you can see Chaulk Sound, and have a picnic at Sapadilla Bay.

I'll see you on the beach!

Thanks blamona :)

hummm...so since you are on the same street we'll be staying too....how far in distance or minutes to the first resort or beach are we???

So...I gather it's very quiet in that location for some real R&R??

Taxi's would be what like $10.00 or $20.00 one way roughly, do you know???

How's the weather right now???

26 days to go ...

thanks again...gadgetgirl

Hi there,

So you found out your exact location at last! that's good news.

Dolphin avenue is a very nice residential neighborhood, but as blamona said, it is indeed to far to walk to get the gecko.

I would recommend getting a car.

you are just a few mins walk to Leeward Beach, which is a continuation of Grace Bay beach. There are no resorts currently on Leeward beach, but there are some in the works.

Taxi's will be about $20 when ever you take them. I would really go with the car. Much more practical.

The weather is beautiful right now, warm and sunny, about 85F.

Potcake!

I took my sister to the TCSPCA festival yesterday, and she bought the PJ's from the potcake foundation. Too cute!!!

If you are up for it, I would love to meet you sometime, we are here until end of Jan.

Gadgetgirl, today was gorgeous!!! Until 3 there wasn't a cloud in the sky! Then just enough for a beautiful sunset. Hot days, cooler nights, perfect! The first resort to ahng out in is Ocean Club, probably 4 minutes by car. On Dolphin Avenue it is pretty quiet, we are a 2 block walk to a small, gorgeous beach. go to www.enews.com, see all the restaurant happenings, etc. It changes on Wednesdays. Calico Jacks on Friday nights is fun too.

See you soon!
