Local beach bar and local lobster

We will be there for a day in November. Looking for a small locals bar that has good seafood and lobster. Can anyone advise typical price for lobster for lunch? We are not interested in the big touristy places as we like chatting with the local people and usually get better local food at the smaller places.

A one day stop over usually means they are on a cruise ship and in Grand Turk.

On Grand Turk - Highly recommend The Sandbar, very picturesque street in town. Or the Guanahani Restaurant out at Bohio Dive Resort, taxi gets a few more dollars for taking you that far! Both are beachfront, you'll have to flip a coin.

There aren't any small local places? We are not looking for a resort restaurant. Is there a special drink that grand turks is known for that we should try? We travel in the Caribbean all the time and try to find the small, off the beaten path kind of places. Thanks again.

Believe me, these ARE small local places. Try the Dark and Stormy.

Ok. Is the dark n stormy the same as the bermuda drink- ginger beer and goslings?

about a 30 minute walk along the beach or less than a 10 minute cab ride. If it's after sunset, it's dark along the beach and I'd recommend a cab

Grand turk as several great local bars and restaurants. If your're looking for some authentic conch and lobster dishes, try West Road. Very reasonably priced dishes, so you get to try more than one!

BTW, Somewhere Restaurant and the Sands Resort are both located on Provo.
