Are the Glow Worms worth spending the money to see?

We are heading back in June for our 2nd trip in less than a year and this time we planned to be there for the full moon to see the Glow Worms in the ocean.....but I am just checking to see if it is worth spending the money on them.

Thanks for the help

Check out the Atabeyra's glow worm cruise. It's a fun time, with plenty of rum punch to go around. Unless they've gone up in price, it was just $25 per person when we went.

Are the glow worms worth it? Sure, why not? They're cool to watch, and make a great excuse to get out on the water, toast the sunset, and celebrate nature.

Have fun. :-)

We did it last year with Ocean Outback from Sapodilla Bay and loved it. Spending time on the water alone is worth it, and the glow worms are amazing if you have never seen "the show".

Glow worms are pretty cool. They don't last long and the number that appear for the show varies. The trip itself is worth it--being out on the water at sunset with friends and family is always a good time.

This is a rather unique natural phenomenon and impossible to photograph - so you really MUST see it for yourself.

Not sure what other boat operators charge but almost every boat charter does this cruise. I have heard of paying $85 per person.

Ocean Outback goes out three nights after the full moon on the south side from Sapodilla Bay for $59 each - kids 1/2 price.

The Atabeyra trip, leaving from Leeward, is about 4 to 5 nights after the full moon at $25 each is just about the best deal on anything on this island (two hour sail boat ride/rum punch/sunset/glow worms) what could be better? Call 649-231-0624 www.suncharters.tc or Sail Atabeyra on Facebook to reserve space.

Like our weather and like fishing, there is no guarantee on seeing this impressive mating dance but when they are out the experience is ...priceless!

We have seen spectacular shows by these creatures in the past. If the rain stops we will be on the Atabeyra this evening. The trip is certainly a bargain at $25

Yes, it's worth it to see the glow worms over and over. Atebeyra is a great ship to be out on at sunset. Fun crew and they go to the exact spot for maximized GLOW WORM viewing. We never get tired of seeing them!
