Wow! Their next schedule for flights is being published on 5/18 so maybe that's when they'll post their Provo schedule.

I suspect late morning departures from BWI and FLL to PLS. Could be some excellent intro fares, we'll see.

Hopefully those in the Baltimore area will finally get that non-stop to Provo.

A little air competition with Turks & Caicos as a destination should reflect lower rates amongst the carriers. Now will Southwest have a direct flight or service from your home airport? Dr. Jim

We normally fly AA from RDU to Charlotte to Provo. I would rather have my wisdom teeth pulled than fly through Miami. And I hate Delta.

Hope you are right Dr. Jim. Would love to see a fare war between Southwest and the other carriers who currently fly into Provo. Fingers crossed!

Being located in NC, flying Jet Blue or Southwest can present some challenges when trying to get connections and not spend all day traveling or staying overnight.

BWI would be direct competition with UA at Dulles.

FLL would go against JetBlue and AA (MIA). Southwest no longer avoids direct competition.

I found this on airliners.net. Can't vouch for its accuracy. This is the link: www.airliners.net/forum/viewtopic.php…

Southwest applied with the DOT to commence service to Turks & Caicos.

SWA proposes to offer service between Fort Lauderdale International Airport and Providenciales commencing on or about November 5th.

Carrier says the service will be timed to offer connections from BWI, DCA, EWR, MCO, MDW, and TPA.

Don't need SW unless they want to go direct from BWI. AA and Jet Blue already go with connections. The SW terminal is a total madhouse. Rather spend a little more with out the masses. Direct from BWI, I might go with the masses, otherwise no need.
