Petit St Vincent Questions

Can anyone tell me if there is good snorkeling at PSV?

Is the water blue blue like in some other islands - I don't want to go to one of those islands where it is blue but not tourquoise.

Any other comments/feedback would be great. Trying to decide between Petit & Guana.

The snorkeling all around the island is excellent. There is a reef so close to shore, in fact, they had to cut a channel through it to allow swimmers to get past it. You can then snorkel on the seaward side.

Also, you can take a day trip to Tobago Cays where there is lots of excellent snorkeling and scuba diving.

Not sure what you are looking for RE: water color. The color depends on the water's depth and the type of sea bottom. Turquoise just indicates shallower water over a sandy bottom. Still, here is a pic I took from the top of PSV overlooking the Atlantic side. You can see several reefs (the dark spots) and different colors of water.
